Terms of Service.

Effective June 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using PieMail ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What PieMail does

PieMail is an online service that prints, stamps, and mails physical letters via the United States Postal Service (USPS) on behalf of users. We do not endorse, review, or take responsibility for the content of the letters you send.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use PieMail.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use PieMail to send:

  • Illegal content, threats, harassment, or hate speech.
  • Mail that violates USPS regulations (including hazardous materials, restricted goods, or fraudulent solicitations).
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk mail, or mail fraud.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates the privacy of others.
  • Anything that violates federal, state, or local law.

We reserve the right to refuse, reject, or cancel any letter for any reason. If a letter is rejected after submission, you will be refunded.

5. Pricing and payment

Pricing is shown at checkout and includes postage, printing, and paper. All payments are processed by our payment partner Stripe and are charged at the time of order. Prices may change; current pricing is always available at /pricing.

6. Delivery and tracking

Letters are typically deposited into the USPS system within one business day of order. USPS First Class delivery times typically range from 1–5 business days but are not guaranteed. PieMail is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by USPS after handoff.

7. Refunds

Once a letter is printed and handed to USPS, refunds are not available. If your order is canceled or rejected before printing, you will receive a full refund to the original payment method.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content of letters you submit. You grant PieMail a limited license to print, reproduce, and mail your content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PieMail's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid PieMail in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
